Evo Japan 2025 announces the details and format of the Cosplay Parade and the Cosplay Contest!

The champion of the Cosplay Contest will win a trip to a future Evo event! The winner can choose to attend either Evo 2025 in Las Vegas, Evo France in Nice, or Evo Singapore in 2026!

Top cosplay contestants will qualify for the TOP 8 showcase. We ask hopeful participants to post your cosplay using the hashtag #EVOJ25CosCon by 5.9 [Fri] Day 1, 16:00 on X/Twitter for a chance to participate on stage during the CosCon Final and win a trip to a future Evo event!
Join us and parade around the event in your favorite fighting game cosplay!No need to apply in advance, just gather at the meeting point!

The cosplay contest will be streamed on Evo Japan's YouTube channel.

The venue is expected to be crowded. Please be considerate with other attendees and mind the foot traffic. If you do not follow the guidance of the Evo Japan staff's instructions, we may refuse your participation in Evo Japan itself.

The cosplay parade may be photographed and may appear on Social Media, TV, and various media.

Cosplay Contest
A cosplay contest was held again this year to compete for the love of costumes and fighting game characters!
Finalists will perform on the substage on Day 2!

The winners will be presented with awesome prizes!
Not only the level of character accuracy, but also the overall cosplay skill and passion for fighting games will be judged.
We look forward to seeing your performance!

Entries will be accepted only through posts on X. There will be no performance judging for qualification.
Finalists will be announced on Evo Japan official X.


Entry Requirement
At least 18 years old as of Friday, May 9.

How to Participate
●Entry●
1. Follow EVO Japan Official X.
2. Post on X, including these five items:

1) Game title of your cosplay
2) Character name
3) Hashtag = #EVOJ25CosCon
4) Cosplay photo to be judged
　Two or more | One of them must show the whole body.
5) Selling Point


*Put a hashtag of the original post if you do threaded posts.
*Finalists must perform in the same costume as the entry photo.
*Please open your DM on X to contact with the Evo Japan official X.

1. Final performances by selected finalists!

☑︎Be prepared to showcase your cosplay by posing and performing on stage.
☑︎Answer interview questions about your cosplay and it’s construction.

2.Final review and announcement of results

After the performance of all finalists, the judges will review and award the runner-up and crown the champion!
The winner will be awarded a trip to a future Evo event!
After all is said and done, let’s take a group photo and honor our love for fighting game cosplay!

While spectating and while wearing cosplay, please be considerate and avoid blocking the view of others.

*DO NOT post photos of other people's cosplay to the entry.
*If you miss the final on 5/10(Sat.), you will not be eligible for the award.
*Finalists must have a “cosplay participation ticket” and “admission ticket” valid on 5/10 (Sat.).
*Cosplayers whose cosplay differs significantly from the entry photo will not be eligible for the awards.
*The right to travel to a future Evo Event (Las Vegas, France, or Singapore) is valid only for the winner. If the winner is unable to travel, the right will be forfeited.
